This trick is only applicable for Mozilla Firefox!
Step1: Open desired video in youtube, metacafe, or anyother video streaming site.
Step2: Type "about:cache" in your browser's address bar.
Step3: A page will open having cache information. From there copy the address of cache Directory from "Disk cache device" section, it will be like "C:\Documents and Settings\.......\Local Settings\Application data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\hc6pnitc.default\Cache"
Step4: Open My Computer, paste above directory addressin address bar, i.e. Navigate to "cache dir", you will have many files.
Step5: Look for highest size of a file, if you've trouble finding among too many files, then clear cache of your browser and then reload the youtube video, then do the same, you'll find less number of files. Now check for max file size, copy to desired destination and rename it as "filename.flv". That's it!
If your player doesn't support 'flv' extension, Download a "kLite Codec", which supports almost all formats of media.
EVERY TIME YOU PLAY VIDEO JUST CLEAR CACHE AND CHECK THE CACHE FOLDER,
AND COPY THE LARGEST FILE!
