Why iPhone Apps are good than Android Apps ?

Summary:

It has been noticed in many instances that an iPhone app looks more attractive than an Android one. This article summarizes the chief reasons for why it is so. It is an obvious notion, that more often than not, an iPhone user is an iPhone user, because it is just so stylish. There is so much of the oomph in the look and feel of the sleek apple device that makes people go crazy all over it.

Not only is the iPhone nerve rackingly beautiful, but all its apps are also designed in a way that is just so visually appealing that it sometimes even surpasses the “utility” aspect of an application. Now, I am not saying that an iPhone app is not really as good when it comes to utility, but only stating that an application on an iPhone is much more concentrated towards its beauty and style.

Apple has consistently given pronounced attention towards the look of the product, while Google’s inclination has been slightly indented towards the usability and utility of it. This is why it is easier for an iPhone apps developer to create stylish and appealing apps on iOS. It is in fact easier to create pretty looking and visually attractive apps on the iOS as compared to the Android.

It’s like the Apple code of genetics almost commands design. Google, on the other hand, has a chemical composition that is focused on Searches. Having said that it is quite obvious that a platform like iOS ill obviously have a more devout concentration towards building an application that has a better User Interface and stylistic appeal.

Okay, I am not an anti-android kind of a person, at all. In fact, although an iPhone application developer by profession, I myself own an Android device in addition to the gamut of Apple that I cherish. However, there are a number of reasons why an iPhone app is better in terms of User interface than an Android.

Reasons:

Device Diversity
Too many updates have led to a fragmentation of systems in the Google analogy. This means that when a developer develops a code for an app on the iPhone, it is for a limited number of screen sizes. However, with Google, there are so many devices, each with their own set of screen dimensions and other features that it becomes very difficult to come up with a seamless product.

So on a device with good resolution one particular app may look fantastic, however, on another one, the same app looks ugly, plain and simple. What’s more, the app has to be tested on all the devices individually to see if it works correctly on them all. Not only does this limit the scope of going head strong with imagination, it also slows down the overall process of development and release of an android app.

So if one really wants a stunningly beautiful and captivating app that functions and looks good on all Android devices, one will probably have to develop multiple versions of the same app. One for the high resolution ones, one for the low res devices and a mid-way between the two poles.

Time
Like I mentioned earlier, the whole rigmarole of creating the same app, on the same platform, for a thousand different devices can be a Herculean task. It takes a lot of time in order to develop an app that will do justice in each and every device.

What's more frustrating is that just developing an app is not the end of the story. One has to test the app completely before they can publish it on the app store. This prolongs the total time taken to successfully develop and publish an Android app.

Experience
Yes, Android is a novice in this department. Apple has had a backing of more than two full decades to hone its iOS, whereas Google is a greenhorn when it comes to the Smartphone arena. Obviously, iOS has that edge over android, because it has already gone through that phase of trial and error that android faces today. The entire process of building an iPhone app feels much seamless and effortless.

Conclusion
On the whole, the idea of explaining all this is not to demean Android one bit. It just goes out to all the people who keep wondering why is that an app looks so stunningly beautiful when it comes to an iPhone and not so in Android devices.
