Author of the book “Trade like Warren Buffet” James Altushter once told us how to stay active all the time and generate different ideas without stop. James Altushter had an idea to create a channel with reality TV-shows only. All his friends claimed it was stupid. In addition James did not have TV company in order to bring this stupid to life. But Altushter did not give up.

The main problem was a lack of confidence. He did not know what to do. It could be rather good idea to create 10 more reality TV shows and start searching for partners.  Sometimes he thought that it was impossible. The most important thing was not to drop everything and go a step-by-step to his great aim. Also he developed a special system how to create ideas:



1.Read at least 4 different books every day
For instance, biography of any celebrity, book about science, fiction and some textbook. Choose your variants!

2.Write down 10 ideas
Do not worry they are possible or not. Write ideas about new business, about writing a book, about some surprise, about anything. But not less than 10 items. The more - the better.

3.Work with your other half of the brain
Altushter wrote something every day. Sometimes it was very exhausting. Once he visited a painting lesson.  His landscape was really horrible. But he liked the process extremely because he used his inactive part of brain.

4. Do not argue with reality
We cannot control everything. But believe that it is useless to regret about the past or to be scared with future.

5. Make your sub consciousness generate a mass of ideas
It is not so hard. Everybody has his/her own timetable. We get up, go to job, come home, and watch TV etc. But sometimes we need a shake-up. We need to do something different. Go to bed earlier, to write letters manually instead of using computer. We need changes in order to activate your mind!

6. Do not rack yourself!
Sometimes you plant bad seeds which will never sprout. Not every seed will obviously become a beautiful flower. Frankly speaking, very few seeds will! If you cannot understand this you will soon be disappointed.

7. Browse through Internet
Maybe you saw a picture: “If you want to become creative just turn off your computer” but sometimes Internet surfing helps.

8. Create a list of your favorite things from childhood
At the age of 6 James liked Greek mythology and comics. At school teachers made him to learn French. Now he does not remember a word in French but can tell by heart all the comics.
